The Human Fibronectin 120 kDa cell attachment fragment is a specific portion of the fibronectin protein derived through proteolytic cleavage. This fragment retains key functional domains responsible for cell adhesion, making it highly valuable for various biological and research applications. It has a molecular weight of approximately 120 kDa. It is typically obtained through controlled enzymatic digestion of full-length human fibronectin. This fragment includes critical regions for cell attachment, such as the RGD (Arg-Gly-Asp) sequence, which interacts with cell surface integrins. It contains interaction sites for integrins alpha5 beta1 and alphaV beta3.

- Source: Chymotryptic digest of human plasma fibronectin.
- Purity: One band at 120 kDa and some lower bands on SDS-PAGE. Affinity chromatography on heparin agarose and gelatin agarose.
- Application: For cell attachment and integrin signaling assays. Integrin signaling assays (stimulates integrin-depedent activation)
- Reconstitution:
- Add 0.5ml of sterile pure water to the preparation.
- Incubate at 37°C for 15 minutes.
- Stir the solution gently. Do not use a vortex.
- Storage: Lyophilized format: Short-term store at +2° to +8°C. Long-term storage at -20°C. Reconstituted format: Store +2 to +8°C for a month.
