Who We Are

MD Biosciences develops and provides products for use in the inflammation, autoimmune, neurology, immunology, endocrinology and metabolic disorders research fields. We supply antibodies, cell culture reagents, ELISAs and peptides to the academic, pharmaceutical, biotech, and government communities.

The Information We Collect

1. Inquiries and Orders

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the MD Biosciences website. On some pages, you can order products, make requests, and register to receive materials. We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order or making an inquiry only to complete that order or respond to your inquiry. We do not share this information with outside parties.

Please note that the provision of some information will be necessary in order for us to process your order. For example, we need your address to be able to send you the product you ordered. Our online forms clearly identify which fields are required for us to complete the transaction. If you don’t provide this information to us, we will not be able to complete the transaction.

We never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us without providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit unrelated uses.

2. Customer Relations and Marketing

You will receive marketing communications from us if you have requested information or purchased products from us or have provided us with your details when you contacted our customer service teams. We also process data that you voluntarily provide to us, including but not limited to, information while attending life science congresses or events or from related networking organizations.

We process your personal data - your contact information- in order to provide you with a satisfactory customer management experience (such as a sales transaction follow-up or to process your inquiries). For this purpose, we also process your personal data to develop our client relationship in order to provide you with individualized content and to assess your needs as a customer. Generally, we will use collected information to inform you about our new products and events.

We only want to provide you with marketing communications if you want to hear from us.  If you don’t want to receive such communications, you can:

  • click on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every marketing e-mail we send you.
  • select the type of marketing communications you would like to receive (or none at all by checking the relevant fields at the bottom of every marketing e-mail we send you).
  • contact us using the contact details provided at the bottom of this Privacy Policy Notice.

Once you do this, we will update your profile to ensure that you don’t receive any further marketing messages.  Please note that stopping marketing messages will not stop any service communications (such as order updates) or requests for feedback.

3. Browsing our website

6. Google Analytics

Our websites use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google") to store "analytical cookies" on your device. This means that information about users and the use of our websites is transmitted to Google and processed on our behalf for the purpose of compiling reports on website activity, measuring website visits and visitors and providing similar services for us. This includes the transmission of your IP address, but it will not be merged with other Google data. In addition, your IP address is shortened (usually within the European Union) and saved by Google only in an abridged form. 7. LinkedIn Social Plugins

We use LinkedIn social plugins on our websites (LinkedIn plugin), LinkedIn is operated by LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. For privacy matters outside of the USA, LinkedIn Ireland, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland, is responsible. When you view one of our websites that contains the LinkedIn plugin, your internet browser is automatically prompted to the download of a display of the corresponding LinkedIn component of LinkedIn. LinkedIn receives information via the LinkedIn component that the data subject has visited our websites, provided that the data subject is logged in at LinkedIn at the time of visiting our website. Information regarding your surfing behaviour will be processed if you are logged in to LinkedIn regardless of whether you click on the LinkedIn plugin. You can prevent this transmission by logging out of your LinkedIn account before viewing one of our websites. 8. Twitter Social Plugins 

We use Twitter social plugins on our websites (Twitter plugin). Twitter is operated by Twitter, Inc. 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. Every time an individual page of our websites, on which a Twitter button is integrated, is viewed, your Internet browser automatically downloads the presentation of the Twitter plugin to Twitter using the Twitter plugin. You can obtain further information on the Twitter plugin at https://about.twitter.com/en/resources/buttons. Through the Twitter plugin, Twitter learns which individual pages of our websites you visit. The purpose of this is to retransmit the contents of this Internet page to you through Tweets in order to promote our offerings. If you are logged into Twitter, Twitter can capture your surfing behaviour on our websites as well as the Twitter plugin activity, and attribute this to your Twitter account. Information regarding your surfing behaviour will be processed if you are logged into Twitter, regardless of whether you click on the Twitter plugin. User Conduct

You agree to follow the conduct rules listed below. If you fail to follow these conduct rules, MD Biosciences may, in its sole discretion, terminate or suspend your account without refund, in addition to pursuing any other legal and equitable remedies including but not limited to money damages.

  • You will not knowingly provide or post any false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • You will not use this site, or any products purchased from MD Biosciences for any illegal purpose.
  • You will not pretend to be someone you are not or otherwise impersonate any living person.
  • You will not interfere or tamper with the functioning of this site, nor will you attempt to gain access to information or control of the site not specifically granted to you.
  • You will not use this site to transmit any virus or similar destructive program or code.

Ownership and Use of Materials

The materials on this site belong to MD Biosciences and you are granted a limited, revocable, license to download or print one copy of the materials on this site, but only for the purpose of ordering products on the site. When you download or print a copy of the materials on this site, you must also include all copyright and other notices that are in the materials. The materials on this site are protected by United States and foreign copyright laws. If you use the materials in a way that is not clearly allowed by these Terms & Conditions, you are violating your contract with us and may be violating copyright, trademark, and other laws. In that case MD Biosciences automatically revokes your limited license to use the materials and you must immediately destroy any copies you have made. Title to the materials remains with MD Biosciences. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Modification

MD Biosciences reserves the right to make changes to the site, including these Terms and Conditions, at any time without notice.

Your Rights
