The human Programmed cell death 1 ligand 2 (PD-L2) / CD273 is a recombinant protein consists of a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain with 204 amino acids (20-200aa).
Programmed cell death-1 (PD-1) is a key immunosuppressive molecule with two known ligands, PD-L1 and PD-L2. PD-L2 (also known as B7-DC or CD273), encoded by the PDCD1LG2 gene, plays a role in the negative regulation of the adaptive immune response as an immune checkpoint receptor ligand. Both PD-L1 and PD-L2 interact with PD-1 to modulate immune responses, making them significant targets in immunotherapy studies aimed at enhancing anti-tumor activity.
