Fibronectin heparin binding 40 kDa fragment. Chymotryptic digest of human plasma fibronectin.

Heparin-binding 40 kDa fragment of human plasma fibronectin is purified from a chymotryptic digest of human plasma fibronectin. This preparation contains the CS-1 heparin-binding region of fibronectin, which promotes cytoskeleton organization in integrin signaling. SDS-PAGE analysis shows one major band at 40 kDa with no higher molecular weight species, though smaller proteolytic fragments may be present. This fibronectin heparin-binding 40 kDa fragment is derived from a chymotryptic digest of human plasma fibronectin.
